How to access the DSP First toolbox from CAEN PCs

In order to gain access to the DSP First Matlab toolbox from CAEN PC's, perform the following steps:
  1. Download the file dspfirst_win.m to your personal space (CAEN network drive H:)
  2. Start Matlab.
  3. Change directories to the directory where you saved the script (using the "cd" command, for instance).
  4. Execute the script by typing "dspfirst_win" at the Matlab command prompt.
Now you're all set.

One word of warning: there are a few DSP First toolbox functions that will not work under Matlab 6.  If you are having trouble, you may wish to try running them under Matlab 5.3 (which is still installed on all CAEN PCs).
