Equipment:

• The labs and project have to be done on Sun Solaris machines since not all the tools work in Linux.
  Here is an updated list of where to find Sun machines on North Campus:

  • CAEN Computer lab listings
• You will be given CAEN AFS space for your labs and project.
  In addition to this, you will also be provided with space on EECS DCO machines.

Lab 1:

• Date of Assignment: Monday, Jan 9
  
• Due: Friday, Jan 20, before 11:59pm

• Synthesis scripts: common.dc   timing.dc   namingrules.dc   mult.dc
  
• To submit: email a tar-gzipped file uniqname_lab1.tar.gz as an attachment to Ganesh with the subject line, "lab 1 submission".
• For example:
